it is worth noting that these apps help you to win the Nobel Prize for physics, but they will serve as a good form of mental exercise. If there is an app that claims to do more than that, ask to see the research of psychometrics.
wait, psychometry? This is an article about training your brain. I thought that I had to throw in at least a vocab Word fun. Psychometrics is the science of measurement of mental capacities and processes.
, while I'm not sure that none of these things are improving constantly your brain functions, games and techniques will help you to concentrate and remember things.

I love this game, but it's a puzzle game little absolutely maddening. Make sure you are finished with the day's work, as three years will have hooked from the beginning.
initially, manipulate you the tiles on the Board to combine the 1 and 2 to make 3. After that, you combine 3 for 6 who become 12 and so forth. The goal is to keep playing until you run out of moves and the 4 x 4 Board fills. It becomes more difficult as the GET to higher numbers.

exercise of brain-training Apps
from the point of view of development and mental, there are plenty of apps that claim to be able to train your brain if you'll do better on tasks that require skills such as memory and concentration.
an I played with briefly was Lumosity. This, as similar applications and sites, working to develop your skills over time. I can see how it could be really useful if you used to practice every day. If you want access to all the games and challenges, however, these services tend to focus on the subscription and the cost can start to add up.
this is not necessarily a problem for everyone, but a lot of these applications rely on the good twitch muscles, fast and dexterity in order to accurately test your mental abilities. Also, you want to get an idea of the speed at which the person can translate thoughts into action. I have a physical challenge, where it's a little more difficult, so I was not able to fully to Lumosity test.
newspaper Puzzles
I know what you're thinking: who gets a newspaper today? Just enough, but when I think of what follows, I always picture puzzle page. There are both online and mobile of all the following exercises mind-sharpening.

memory Palace
one of the best books I've read in the past few years is Moonwalking with Einstein by Joshua Foer. Foer was a freelance journalist who had an assignment to cover the 05 Championship memory. After discussions with some of the competitors, Foer decided to give a competition.
this is a great book that recounts his year of training and all that he has learned. One of the main lessons is that anyone can remember things even lengthy and complicated. It's just a matter of technique.
one of the things that is widely covered in the book is the method of "memory Palace".
in this exercise, picture in your mind a big empty House. It should be a House, you know, so that you have a lot of nooks and crannies to hide your memories.
Let's say you're invited to remember the order in which you see a deck of cards. The trick to this is to associate the thing you have to remember with an image, you may not forget. Here's how it works.
the first card could be the King of hearts. For me, it's Michael Buble because my grandma likes his songs of love. The singer would be standing in the driveway as I pull up to the House.
2 of heart is the Olsen twins, because I think everybody likes Michelle Tanner. They are in the front garden. The 2 of Spades is represented by these rascals the Dukes of Hazzard in the home.
, you keep the straight sequence naturally just by walking through the House.
this can also work to help you remember phone numbers and all kinds of other information that is actually useful. It's also really fun to come with pictures of crazy.
great that these techniques are, one of the most important things we can do to help the conservation of information is to get a good night sleep to. While we dream, our brain sort out information so it can be kept for the long term.
